Ok, friends. I have breaking news! If you start doing this ONE thing it will make everyday BETTER. Like way better! You ready to find out what it is?? Here goes.
Be Still in the Presence of Our Savior.
What?? That’s it?? Yep. Now WAIT don’t click off yet!! Let me explain a little.
I have personal experience with this topic so let me tell you a little story.
I am a teenager and do stupid stuff. It is just in my nature. A couple months ago I did something stupid and as a result, my phone was taken away for a week. For the first two days, I was upset. I didn’t know what to do. I had a ton of time but didn’t know what to do with all the time. I didn’t want to do school, because duh. I couldn’t check all my social media accounts or Continue reading “One Thing You Need to START Doing”
I have bad habits. That is a known fact. I am human, I am sinful, I am not perfect. But there is one imparticular thing I need to STOP and I bet you do too.
Yes, it is as simple as that. Now actually stopping the act is harder than it sounds.
I like to argue with my brothers, my parents, my friends, my cats, the volleyball referees, just about anyone. It is easy! Which Hunger Games movie was better? If we have different opinions there is an argument about to happen. Every time my brother do not clean up their Play Station remotes and it is the third time I am telling them, I tend to argue that that do not listen to me and are stinkers and they frustrate me. I am sure you can imagine all Continue reading “One Thing You NEED to STOP Doing”

How important is fame?
Hello, sweet friends! I’m glad you’re here today – I’m excited to chat about fame and get a Godly perspective on it. ☺
In case you are all prepared with your hackles up and guns ready for me to say that no way, fame is terrible, awful, not Godly at all – just settle your little self down and chill a minute. Continue reading “How Important is Fame?”
“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.” ~Helen Keller
Having friends is very important to your walk through life. Why? Well, think about it. Friends offer many advantages to out journey through life. They can help you through difficult times in life. You can enjoy the best laughs with them. Friends can help in creating the best memories of your childhood. Friends impact our lives in many ways, many different ways.
God says in Ecclesiastes, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV) Continue reading “7 Important Qualities To Look For in a Loving Best Friend”
All too often we go throughout our day without thinking of the little things we take for granted.
God blesses us with so many things we don’t even recognize them. The few times we do we even take them for granted at times. I am guilty of this, that is for sure.
To help myself (and hopefully you too, if you struggle with not acknowledging what God does for us) I have made this list of just 10 things that I can be grateful to my Heavenly Father for.
It is super simple but so very important. God hand picked and made you specifically for your family. He chose your momma and daddy to be your parents and your siblings parents for specific reasons. Even though you might not agree with the punishments your parents give you or maybe you fight with your siblings (I do sometimes, sadly) each one of those moments was in God’s plan and He is going to use those moments for His glory.
I have created a beautiful room. My walls are blue. Not just any blue, but the gorgeous blue the ocean waters look when it is the middle of the day, the skies are clear, and there is nothing in the water. All the sand has settled and there is only gorgeous blue water. I have pictures all over my room, reminding me of beautiful memories. Memories of family vacations, trips to Disney World, photo shoots, family portraits, and more. I have a lot of books. Some I have read and many I want to read. My entire wardrobe is in my room. Some clothes I love and wear a lot and those few t-shirts I will never wear again although I can not bring myself to donating them yet because I still have a hope of wearing them. My desk sits in a corner almost always cluttered with school books. My room would look to a stranger to be almost perfect. Some friends have called it relaxing, pretty, but there is something missing. I can not put my finger on it, but something is not right. It is my room, in my house, but yet I do not feel home. Why?
“If I tell you my story, you will find hope that wouldn’t let go. If I told you my story, you would hear love that never give up. If I told you my story, you would hear life but it wasn’t mine. If I should speak then let it be of the grace that is greater than all my sin, of when justice was served and where mercy wins, of the kindness of Jesus that draws me in. To tell you my story is to tell of Him. If I told you my story you would hear victory over the enemy. If I told you my story you would hear freedom that was won for me. If I told you my story you would hear life overcome the grave. If I should speak then let it be of the grace that is greater than all my sin, of when justice was served and where mercy wins, of the kindness of Jesus that draws me in. To tell you my story is to tell of Him. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.” ~Big Daddy Weave – My Story
This song is a great reminder that our story is not our own. Our story points back to the Author of our stories.
My story, which is His, goes like
